Bot

System messages from Usedesk (e.g., auto-responses) are sent on behalf of Usedesk Bot. This allows you to separate those messages that were automatically generated from those sent by real people.
If replies to clients are sent on behalf of a user, rather than a company or channel, rename the bot so that clients will display it as you want—for example, the Usedesk support team.
To rename a bot, go to "Users" - "Bot," select a bot to edit by clicking on the "Edit" icon.

You can edit the bot in the card:
  • E-mail;
  • Password;
  • Name;
  • Position;
  • Phone;
  • Language.
To edit a bot profile, go to "Users" - "Bot", select a bot to edit by clicking on the "Profile" icon.

Additionally, you can customize the profile of a bot:
  • Automatic offline;
  • Personal signature;
  • Avatar;
  • Telephony.

After making changes, click "Save."
