Trigger change history

Usedesk now offers the ability to track what changes agents make to the logic of how triggers work.

This will help you restore a trigger's operation faster when changes are made to its settings that alter its triggering logic, as well as better track the actions of employees whose responsibilities include developing process automation within the support team.

You can do this in three ways:

1. On a specific trigger's settings page

A "Change history" block has been added that lets you see the date on which a trigger was created or modified, as well as which employee made the changes and exactly what was changed.

2. On the trigger list page

An "Export logs" button has appeared — you can select a time period as well as the specific trigger changes you want to get information about.

When you click the "Export" button, you'll receive a CSV file showing which employee created, deleted, or modified triggers, as well as exactly what actions they performed.

3. In the "Activity feed" block of an agent's profile

A "Trigger changes" tab has been added that lets you see which triggers an employee created, deleted, or edited on a particular date.

Important — the "Trigger changes" tab will be available only to employees with the "Administrator" role and to agents who have access to the "Triggers" section.

The change history is stored for one year (365 days).
